Cerro El Cisne (1.486m)

With nearly 1,500 m. the climb to El Cisne (The Swan) is one of the hardest routes in Sierra Almijara due to its steepness, 700 m. in 3 km. The peak was almost inaccessible until the Spanish guerrilla used it as a refuge.

The route begins in the former abandoned mountain village of El Acebuchal, about 7 kilometres from Frigiliana.

The panoramic views of the Axarquía malagueña, with the horizon of the Mediterranean Sea and the huge sweeps pf the peaks of Sierra Almijara will compensate for all the effort made.
